‘Charlie’s Angels’ are Back in First Trailer

Sony has just released the first trailer for its Charlie’s Angels reboot. Check it out in all its glory below.

Huh, this looks like it might be pretty good. Kristen Stewart actually looks charming in that trailer and, after Aladdin, I am down for any film with Naomi Scott in it. I know absolutely nothing about Ella Balinska as an actress, but she looks solid.

Female-fronted films are becoming all the rage these days from Wonder Woman and Captain Marvel to Ghosbusters and the upcoming Terminator: Dark Fate. But Charlie’s Angels was at the forefront of ass-kicking females, and after countless series and films, 2019 may just be their year.

Plot Synopsis:

Charlie’s Angels have always provided security and investigative skills to private clients, and now the Townsend Agency has expanded internationally, with the smartest, most fearless, most highly trained women all over the globe – multiple teams of Angels guided by multiple Bosleys taking on the toughest jobs across the world. When a young systems engineer blows the whistle on a dangerous technology, these Angels are called into action, putting their lives on the line to protect us all.

Charlie’s Angels hits theaters November 15, 2019.
