Daniel Radcliffe Has Gun Hands in the First ‘Guns Akimbo’ Trailer

Yeah you read that right … gun hands.

Madman Films has just released the first trailer for their new action-comedy film Guns Akimbo. And boy does it look like a wild and crazy one.

I gotta say Daniel Radcliffe and Samara Weaving really know how to pick the scripts these days. This just looks bat-shit insane.  Helmed by New Zealand director Jason Lei Howden whose previous film is the cult classic (I’ve never heard of it) film, Deathgasm. That being said it looks like the guy knows how to make some interesting films out of some unusual premises. I mean who doesn’t want to see Daniel Radcliffe learn to fight for his life with guns bolted to his hands? And Samara Weaving was the stand out in Ready or Not Last year so I’m glad she keeps getting work between this and the new Bill & Ted movie.

Plot Synopsis:

Miles spends his days in a dead-end job, pining for his beautiful ex-girlfriend Nova. His mundane existence is turned upside-down when he finds himself enrolled on a dark net website that forces complete strangers to fight in a city-wide game of death so that their gladiatorial battles can be live-streamed worldwide to a fanatical audience. Contestants are chosen by a clandestine gang known as SKIZM, who handicap the weaker contestant to further stack the odds against them. Initially, Miles’ lifetime of running from his problems pays off as he manages to elude his first opponent but when Nova is kidnapped, he must finally stop running and overcome his fears to fight for the girl he loves.

Guns Akimbo comes out on March 5, 2020.
