‘Dexter: New Blood’ Trailer: No One is Ever Really Gone These Days

Showtime has released an exclusive sneak peek for its upcoming Dexter revival which is now titled Dexter: New Blood. Let’s take a look.

I’ll be honest with you all and admit that I have not watched a second of Dexter. Has it always floated through my mind as a show I should watch? Absolutely. Now is it at the bottom of that theoretical watchlist? Yup. So I’ll leave it up to those who have watched the series and tell me if Dexter: New Blood looks like it will be a high point for the franchise.

Michael C. Hall returns as the titular serial killer in Dexter: New Blood. Also starring are Julia Jones (The Mandalorian), Alano Miller (Sylvie’s Love), Johnny Sequoyah (Believe), Jack Alcott (The Good Lord Bird) and Clancy Brown (The Crown).

Plot Synopsis:

Set 10 years after Dexter went missing in the eye of Hurricane Laura, the series finds him living under an assumed name in the small town of Iron Lake, New York. Dexter may be embracing his new life, but in the wake of unexpected events in this close-knit community, his Dark Passenger beckons.

Dexter: New Blood premieres November 7, 2021 on Showtime.
