‘Downton Abbey’ Official Trailer Welcomes Back the Crawleys

Focus Features  has released the official trailer for Downton Abbey, a continuation of the popular PBS series which ran from 2010 to 2015.

SOLD! My whole family got into Downton Abbey at the height of the craze. While it never fully recovered after its third season, it’s still a damn fine dramatic British period piece that was robbed of never winning the Emmy for Best Drama Series.

Yet, somehow, I find myself wondering how Daisy is still working for the Crawleys. Series creator Julian Fellows really loves making us suffer.

Plot Synopsis:

Welcome to a new era. We’ve been expecting you.
The television series Downton Abbey followed the lives of the Crawley family and the servants who worked for them at the turn of the 20th century in an Edwardian English country house. Over its 6 seasons, the series garnered 3 Golden Globe Awards, 15 Primetime Emmy Awards, 69 Emmy nominations in total, making Downton Abbey the most nominated non-US television show in the history of the Emmys – even earning a Special BAFTA award and a Guinness World Record for the highest critically rated TV show along the way.

Downton Abbey opens in theaters September 20, 2019.

Any fans of the series here? Are you looking forward to seeing the Crawleys again?
