First Trailer for Coming-of-Age ‘Walking Dead’ Series

The first trailer for the Third Walking Dead Series has been released, and it looks like something we haven’t seen in The Walking Dead universe yet: a sense of normalcy.

This looks really damn good. This is a coming-of-age story in a zombie apocalypse, and that’s something I don’t think has really ever been explored before. As well, the community shown in this trailer looks like it has gained back a sense of humanity following the outbreak, and that’s pretty interesting.

Being set a decade from the outbreak puts the series in a close proximity to the main The Walking Dead series which was recently renewed for an eleventh season. As well, Lauren Cohan will return for season 11.

Plot Synopsis:

The third installment of the franchise will feature two young female protagonists and focus on the first generation to come-of-age in the apocalypse as we know it. Some will become heroes. Some will become villains. In the end, all of them will be changed forever. Grown-up and cemented in their identities, both good and bad.

TheĀ Untitled Walking Dead Series premieres Spring 2020.

What do you guys think? Will this bring you back to The Walking Dead universe?
