Rachel Zegler‘s Snow White has found her Evil Queen.
Deadline is reporting that Gal Gadot is in final negotiations to play the Evil Queen in Disney’s upcoming live-action adaptation of Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs.
Marc Webb is directing the live-action remake of the 1937 animated classic. Production is expected to start in 2022.
Deadline states that the “live-action film will expand upon the story and music from the original.” Benj Pasek and Justin Paul (La La Land, The Greatest Showman) will write new songs for the movie.
So far, the live-action Disney remakes have been hit or miss with me. That said, I hope Snow White is better than most of them. Now we just need to cast the dwarfs!
