The Alien franchise is winding the clock back again with its next installment.
As an Alien: Romulus sequel remains in limbo, The Hollywood Reporter has revealed that Aaron Guzikowski has been tapped to write a mystery Alien feature project for 20th Century Studios and Ridley Scott. Guzikowski is best known for writing Denis Villeneuve’s Prisoners.
Scott is currently only producing the untitled Alien movie. No director is attached. While plot details are under wraps, it’s reportedly not a sequel to Romulus, but instead a continuation of the Scott-directed Prometheus and Alien: Covenant, with Michael Fassbender’s amoral android part of the movie. Fassbender is not attached yet.
