‘Godzilla vs. Kong’ Trailer: It’s the Clash of the Titans

Warner Bros. has released an official trailer for Godzilla vs. Kong. It is the fourth film in Legendary‘s MonsterVerse and will see the two monsters clash for the first time within this cinematic universe.

Personally, I enjoyed Kong: Skull Island a whole lot more than the two Godzilla films. I think Skull Island had the better cast of human characters and story. Godzilla wasted Bryan Cranston and King of the Monsters wasted Kyle Chandler. The duology has struggled with introducing characters I actually care about. But it looks like this film will finally focus on the stars of the franchise, and I couldn’t be happier.

Plot Synopsis:

In a time when monsters walk the Earth, humanity’s fight for its future sets Godzilla and Kong on a collision course that will see the two most powerful forces of nature on the planet collide in a spectacular battle for the ages. As Monarch embarks on a perilous mission into uncharted terrain and unearths clues to the Titans’ origins, a human conspiracy threatens to wipe the creatures, both good and bad, from the face of the earth forever.

Godzilla vs. Kong hits theaters and HBO Max on March 26, 2021.
