Paramount+ has released an official trailer for Halo, a live-action streaming series based on the popular video game series of the same name. Let’s take a look.
Let’s get one thing out of the way. I absolutely hate the Halo games with a passion. So yeah, I’m completely bias when I say I think this looks terrible. It looks like they desperately want Master Chief to be the strong, silent type similar to Din Djarin in The Mandalorian.
Also, for an adaptation of a best-selling video game series, the special effects sure look unfinished and bad. For example, those alien designs? Woof. But I’m not the demographic for this series, so I’ll stop complaining how much I think this show will suck since I was never going to watch it anyway.
Anyway, Halo stars Pablo Schreiber, Natascha McElhone, Jen Taylor, and Bokeem Woodbine. Additional cast includes Shabana Azmi, Natasha Culzac, Olive Gray, Yerin Ha, Bentley Kalu, Kate Kennedy, Charlie Murphy, and Danny Sapani.
Plot Synopsis:
Halo begins streaming March 24, 2022 on Paramount+.
Do you think Halo will boost subscriptions to Paramount+? Any Halo fans out in the Wasteland that are interested in seeing this?
