‘Invincible’ Trailer: Robert Kirkman’s Comic Book Comes to Life

Prime Video has released an official trailer for Invincible, based on Robert Kirkman’s acclaimed comic book of the same name.

I’ll definitely be checking this out. It stars J.K. Simmons and Steven Yeun, two of my favorite actors, so of course I’m going to watch this!

I’ve never read the comic, but Kirkman created The Walking Dead, and I liked that show despite never reading the comic. And I’m a sucker for superheroes, so yeah I’ll watch it. Not that I haven’t already made that clear.

Plot Synopsis:

From Robert Kirkman and Cory Walker and based on the Skybound / Image comic of the same name, Invincible is an adult animated superhero show that revolves around Mark Grayson, a normal teenager except for the fact that his father is the most powerful superhero on the planet. Shortly after his seventeenth birthday, Mark begins to develop powers of his own and enters into his father’s tutelage. The series is suspenseful, action-filled, and emotion-packed, yet builds upon poignant and heartwarming moments of love, friendship, and humanity.

Invincible begins streaming in 2021 on Prime Video.

What say you screenagers? Will you watch Invincible next year?
