John Wick fans are going to have to wait a little longer for the franchise’s first spinoff film, Ballerina.
Per Deadline, Lionsgate has pushed back the Ana de Armas-starring Ballerina by a year from June 7, 2024 to June 6, 2025. The delay comes as John Wick architect Chad Stahelski has inked a new deal to oversee the franchise. He will now work with Ballerina director Len Wiseman later this year on adding new action sequences to the movie.
As part of the movie, The Crow remake, starring Bill Skarsgård, will now hit theaters on Ballerina‘s old June 7, 2024 release date. Lionsgate has also added an untitled Guy Ritchie-directed movie to January 17, 2025. The upcoming feature reteams Ritchie with his The Ministry of Ungentlemanly Warfare stars Henry Cavill and Eiza González.
That’s all for now.
Are you disappointed that Ballerina got delayed again?
