A new poster for Joker: Folie à Deux has been released ahead of the first trailer on April 9, 2024.
The official X account for the Joker franchise dropped the poster, along with the tagline, “The world is a stage.” The poster shows Joaquin Phoenix‘s Arthur Fleck/Joker dancing with Lady Gaga‘s Dr. Harleen Quinzel/Harley Quinn.
Plot details remain unknown for Folie à Deux, but insiders have stated that the sequel will be a musical that takes place largely in Arkham Asylum. In addition to Lady Gaga and Phoenix, the upcoming DC Elseworlds sequel stars Zazie Beetz (reprising her role from the first film as Sophie Dumond), Brendan Gleeson, Catherine Keener, Jacob Lofland, and Harry Lawtey.
Joker: Folie à Deux is scheduled to open in theaters on October 4, 2024.
