A trailer has been released for the third and final season of FX/Marvel’s trippy mutant show Legion. Check it out below.
Yeah, I’m not even going to try and make any sense of that. I’m just going to strap myself in for the ride.
It looks like David (Dan Stevens) has set himself up as some kind of guru, with enraptured followers and the whole bit. Time travel seems to be a likelihood here, too. We also get a glimpse of what appears to be Professor X, who has already been announced as appearing in the upcoming season, wearing Cerebro. And that shot of Aubrey Plaza as the Mad Hatter? Awesome.
Without getting into spoilers, last season ended quite dramatically. Series creator Noah Hawley is on record as stating that the upcoming season will be the last. I’m looking forward to whatever bonkers adventures await our whacked-out band of mutant friends.
The third and final season of Legion premieres June 24, 2019 on FX.
