‘It: Chapter Two’ Teaser Trailer

Warner Brothers has given us our first taste of the sequel to the Stephen King adaptation.

For a second I thought this was going to be nothing but a full scene from the movie, like slapdash “trailers” on shady streaming sites. But we’re treated to a moment before the actual teaser, which seems to show confidence from the studio. Provided is a tense encounter with an older Beverly (Jessica Chastain) and the new owner of her traumatic childhood home. I find the old woman in the scene even creepier than Pennywise.

We catch a brief glimpse of the clown at the end of the trailer, and I look forward to his interaction with the older members of the Losers Club (played by actors such as James McAvoy and Bill Hader).

Plot Synopsis:

Because every 27 years evil revisits the town of Derry, Maine, “It Chapter Two” brings the characters—who’ve long since gone their separate ways—back together as adults, nearly three decades after the events of the first film.

We all float on September 6, 2019.
