Focus Features has released an official trailer for Let Him Go. Kevin Costner and Diane Lane, aka Superman’s parents, star as grandparents who must get their grandson back from his abusive step-father.
Damn, this movie looks alright! Costner and Lane look like they are going to be going full Superman on this rescue mission. It’s two badass grandparents against a houseful of psychos, but I just know all those abusive Weboys will meet a gruesome end.
Thomas Bezucha wrote and directed the fiery thriller, which is based on the novel of the same name by Larry Watson.
Plot Synopsis:
Following the loss of their son, retired sheriff George Blackledge (Costner) and his wife Margaret (Lane) leave their Montana ranch to rescue their young grandson from the clutches of a dangerous family living off the grid in the Dakotas, headed by matriarch Blanche Weboy. When they discover the Weboys have no intention of letting the child go, George and Margaret are left with no choice but to fight for their family.
Let Him Go hits theaters November 6, 2020.
