Netflix has released the official trailer for Love Wedding Repeat. Brace yourself Screenagers because the trailer does an absolutely horrid job explaining its premise.
Confused? Yeah, I was too. The title made me believe this was going to be a time loop story similar to Groundhog Day or Edge of Tomorrow involving the groom who relives his wedding over and over (until he realizes his bride isn’t his true love). Instead, we have the brother of the bride trying to keep the wedding from hitting the fan multiple times. Only the trailer does a poor job explaining that it’s alternate versions of the same day. It just looks like a bunch of crazy stuff is happening all at once.
But it’s a Netflix original film which means Twitter and millennials will gobble this up and ask for a sequel (just like they did with Tiger King).
Plot Synopsis:
Love Wedding Repeat begins streaming April 10, 2020 on Netflix.
