A first look at MobLand, the newest series from Guy Ritchie, has been released.
People was behind the MobLand first look, unveiling three images from the upcoming Paramount+ with Showtime crime drama series that will star Tom Hardy, Pierce Brosnan, and Helen Mirren. Hardy leads the series as Harry Da Souza, a “fiercely loyal” fixer charged with protecting the Harrigans, a very successful Irish crime family based out of London. Brosnan plays the family’s patriarch, Conrad Harrigan, while Mirren plays his wife, Maeve.
MobLand also stars Paddy Considine, Joanne Froggatt, Lara Pulver, Anson Boon, Mandeep Dhillon, Jasmine Jobson, Geoff Bell, Daniel Betts, Lisa Dwan, and Emily Barber.
The series originally entered development as an offshoot of Showtime’s hit crime drama series Ray Donovan and would have served as an origin story for the Donovan family. However, by November 2024, the series had been reworked into a standalone project with no connections to the Showtime series.
Ritchie is directing most of the one-hour series in addition to executive producing alongside Hardy, Keith Cox, Nina L. Diaz, David C. Glasser, Jez Butterworth, Ronan Bennett, Kris Thykier, Ivan Atkinson, Dean Baker, Ron Burkle, David Hutkin, and Bob Yari. MobLand is produced in association with MTV Entertainment Studios and 101 Studios. The series is distributed by Paramount Global Content Distribution.
MobLand is slated to premiere on Paramount+ with Showtime on March 30, 2025.
