Focus Features has released a new official trailer for Downton Abbey: A New Era. If you’re as much in love with this cast of characters as I am then hit play and see what the Crawley family and company will be getting up to this time around.
I am so ready for this film. I was already watching regardless of quality, but the trailer makes this look like a fun globe-trotting adventure!
I’m not sure how I feel about splitting up the cast with two separate storylines —one involving the villa in the South of France and the other about a movie being shot at Downton— but I’m down to see how it all unfolds.
The original principal cast have returned for the second film including Maggie Smith, Hugh Bonneville, Michelle Dockery, Elizabeth McGovern, Jim Carter, Brendan Coyle, Kevin Doyle, Joanne Froggatt, Robert James-Collier, Phyllis Logan, Sophie McShera, Tuppence Middleton, Lesley Nicol, Imelda Staunton, and Penelope Wilton. New additions include Hugh Dancy, Laura Haddock, Nathalie Baye, and Dominic West.
