New ‘Pacific Rim: The Black’ Trailer

Netflix has released another official trailer for Pacific Rim: The Black. The anime series will be set in a devastated dystopian world more than five years after the events of Pacific Rim: Uprising.

Okay, this actually looks pretty cool. I’m not usually a fan of the anime style, but I’m digging how this is looking. Of course, I’ll have to go watch the first two Pacific Rim films first.

Plot Synopsis:

There was a time when Kaiju rose from the Pacific Rim only to encounter gigantic robots, Jaegers, built to fight them back. That time has passed. Now, Australia has been overrun by Kaiju, forcing the evacuation of an entire continent. Left behind, teenage siblings Taylor and Hayley embark on a desperate search for their missing parents, teaching themselves to pilot a battered, long-abandoned Jaeger to help in their quest and give them even the slightest hope of surviving.

Pacific Rim: The Black begins streaming March 4, 2021 on Netflix.
