New ‘The Power of the Dog’ Trailer

Netflix has released an official trailer for The Power of the Dog. The upcoming western drama was written and directed by Jane Campion. It was based on the 1967 novel of the same name by Thomas Savage.

Oh, man, this looks good. I’m a fan of Benedict Cumberbatch, and this looks like a career best performance. (Although, I can’t really buy him and Jesse Plemons as brothers.)

Speaking of Plemons, how many projects has he now starred in with his wife Kirsten Dunst? We have to be at half a dozen now, right?

Plot Synopsis:

A domineering rancher responds with mocking cruelty when his brother brings home a new wife and her son, until the unexpected comes to pass.

The Power Of The Dog hits select theaters on November 17, 2021, and begins streaming December 1, 2021 on Netflix.
