‘Nix’ Trailer: The Director of ‘Sharknado’ Returns With a New Psychological Horror Film

1091 Pictures has released an official trailer for Nix, the latest film from Anthony C. Ferrante, who directed the worldwide phenomenon Sharknado. This will be his first dramatic horror film since 2005’s Boo.

Confession time: I still haven’t watched Sharknado. I promise I’ll get around to them eventually. Nix, on the other hand, looks like it could be a low-budget, suspenseful treat. I might have to add this film to my Halloween watchlist this year.

Nix stars Dee Wallace, Skyler Caleb, Angie Teodora Dick, and Niesha Renee Guilbot.

Plot Synopsis:

Inspired by Germanic folklore, a tragedy at a mysterious lake continues to haunt a family years after the incident. While Jack Coyle struggles to keep his shattered family together, a strange and powerful entity reveals itself again, opening the wounds for another tragedy to occur. As Jack deals with the consequences, he also must protect his young niece from this frightening creature that threatens to destroy everyone.

Nix will be released on all major digital platforms on September 27, 2022.
