Netflix has released an official teaser trailer for Guillermo del Toro’s Pinocchio. Let’s take a look at the stop-motion musical adventure below.
I definitely thought that was some weird mechanical bug and not the Cricket. Having only seen Disney’s original animated film and the 1990s New Line version with Jonathan Taylor Thomas as Pinocchio, I’m interested in seeing a stop-motion take on the character.
The all-star voice cast for Pinocchio features Ewan McGregor as Cricket, David Bradley as Geppetto, and Gregory Mann as Pinocchio. The rest of the cast includes Finn Wolfhard, Cate Blanchett, John Turturro, Ron Perlman, Tim Blake Nelson, Burn Gorman, Christoph Waltz, and Tilda Swinton.
