First things first, we aren’t getting into a nerd debate over what the differences are between robots, cyborgs androids or whatever else is out there. We are simply talking about our favorite movie robots. Some are funny, some are here to take over the world and some are just plain annoying. Looking at you C-3PO.
Robots have been in movies since the earliest part of the 19th century with Maschinenmensch from 1927’s Metropolis being the first significant robot character. After that robots would become a staple of the sci-fi and horror genres introducing us to some of our favorite manufactured characters. Arguably,as you can see by our list, the favorite and most famous being Arnie’s T-800 from the Terminator Franchise. Let us know below who your favorite movie robots are !
