You may have noticed we have been celebrating 1982’s Blade Runner this month at SAW. So, to keep that going, we decided to take a look at the man behind the camera and rank some of our favorite Ridley Scott films and a commercial…

Ridley Scott exploded on to the scene with his 1979 sci-fi horror masterpiece Alien and would continue to churn out movies every few years (sometimes year after year) with many being well-loved by critics and audiences alike. He is an acclaimed director that has been nominated for the Academy Award as best director three times for Thelma & Louise, Gladiator, and Black Hawk Down but failed to bring home the statue.

He has been a mainstay in cinema for over 40 years and is still going strong behind the camera. We have ranked our top 5 favorite films of his and Alien was his only film to appear on every list.
