Proof That Kids Are Creepy in the First ‘The Turning’ Trailer

DreamWorks Pictures released the first official trailer for The Turning yesterday. Loosely based on the 1898 Henry James novella Turn of the Screw, it is definitely gonna give you the creeps.

The upcoming horror film from director Floria Sigismondi (The Handmaid’s Tale) and written by Chad and Carey W. Hayes (The Conjuring) stars Finn Wolfhard (Stranger Things) and Brooklyn Prince (The Florida Project) as two extremely disturbed orphans who get a new live in nanny, Mackenzie Davis (Blade Runner 2049).

I gotta say this looks pretty good. I’m really interested in seeing this when it comes out. Finn’s doing a great job of being super disturbing while playing the drums.

Plot Synopsis:

For more than 100 years, a deeply haunting tale has been passed down to terrify audiences. Next January, DreamWorks Pictures’ The Turning takes us to a mysterious estate in the Maine countryside, where newly appointed nanny Kate is charged with the care of two disturbed orphans, Flora and Miles. Quickly though, she discovers that both the children and the house are harboring dark secrets and things may not be as they appear.

The Turning will creep you out in theaters on January 24, 2020.

What do you guys think? Interested in seeing this at all?
