Quibi, the streaming service for millennials, has released a new batch of trailers for their upcoming bite-sized projects. Let’s take a look at trailers for Survive, Most Dangerous Game, and #FreeRayshawn.
I don’t know how bite-sized episodes of 10 minutes or less is going to pan out in terms of editing, but this was a damn fine trailer. Sophie Turner and Corey Hawkins are both up-and-coming actors with a lot of potential, so I’m glad to see them as co-leads here.
Most Dangerous Game
That’s two for two now on Quibi shows I’d probably watch. What is going on? But I’m always down for a one man against an army. Liam Hemsworth looks like he’s having fun. At least more fun than in Arkansas. And I’ll watch anything with Christoph Waltz in it.
And that makes three. Huh, Quibi you might just have a future subscriber.
Quibi will have three sections on its streaming service:
- Movies in Chapters: Big stories told in chapters that are 7 to 10 minutes in length.
- Unscripted and Docs: This episodic category is food, fashion, travel, animals, cars, builds, music, sports, comedy, talk, variety, documentary and more. All with episodes in 10 minutes or less.
- Daily Essentials: Curated daily into 5-6 minute quick bites of news, entertainment and inspiration. Quibi’s Daily Essentials will quickly give viewers everything they need to know – and why it matters.
Quibi will cost $4.99 with ads and $7.99 without ads. Right now the service is offering a 90 day free trial for anyone who signs-up atbefore April 20.
Quibi launches April 6, 2020. Most Dangerous Game will be available to watch that day. Survive and #FreeRayshawn will premiere later that month.
