‘Snowpiercer’ Trailer: TNT Gets Ready to Freeze the World in May

TNT has released another official trailer for Snowpiercer. After numerous production delays, it looks like the upcoming television adaptation of the 1982 French graphic novel Le Transperceneige and the 2013 film Snowpiercer is finally set to premiere this May.

Damn, I don’t know what it is about shows featuring a intricate plots and uprisings, but this trailer gives off some Westworld vibes (even the music at the end of the video after the trailer). At least for me. And honestly, that’s one of the reasons I will probably watch. Snowpiercer looks like it presents a richly populated world within the confines of the train. Plus, the first season will apparently involve Daveed Diggs‘s former detective character helping Jennifer Connelly‘s character solve a crime. And I am all over that!

Plot Synopsis:

Set more than seven years after the world has become a frozen wasteland Snowpiercer centers on the remnants of humanity, who inhabit a 1001 car, perpetually-moving train that circles the globe. Class warfare, social injustice and the politics of survival play out in this riveting television adaptation based on the acclaimed movie and graphic novel series of the same name.

Snowpiercer premieres May 17, 2020 on TNT.

What do you guys think? Do you think this will be better than Bong’s film?
