It’s official: Ted Lasso is coming back for a fourth season on Apple TV+.

Per DeadlineTed Lasso Season 4 has been officially greenlit, with Jason Sudeikis confirming that he will return as the title character. On The New Heights podcast Friday morning, Sudeikis revealed that Ted Lasso will be coaching a women’s team next.

Juno Temple, who played Keeley in the first three seasons, is in negotiations to return for Season 4 alongside fellow original cast members Sudeikis, Hannah Waddingham (Rebecca), Brett Goldstein (Roy), and Jeremy Swift (Leslie), who were all reported to be returning back in August 2024.

Ted Lasso Season 4 will reportedly be set in Kansas for its premiere episode before heading back to the UK for the remainder of the season. Casting is about to get underway for all the new roles, with production eying a July start. The writers’ room has been working on scripts for a few months now.

“As we all continue to live in a world where so many factors have conditioned us to ‘look before we leap, in season four, the folks at AFC Richmond learn to LEAP BEFORE THEY LOOK, discovering that wherever they land, it’s exactly where they’re meant to be,” Sudeikis said in a statement.

No word yet on when Season 4 might premiere. The first three seasons are available to stream on Apple TV+.
