‘The Continental’ Trailer: From the World of John Wick

Peacock has released an official teaser trailer for The Continental, an upcoming prequel series set in the John Wick Universe. Let’s take a look.

Not much footage, but damn does this teaser set the tone. I’ll probably check this out. Fingers crossed it doesn’t disappoint!

Colin Woodell stars in The Continental as a young Winston Scott. The cast also includes Ayomide Adegun as a young Charon, Peter Greene as a young Uncle Charlie, Mel Gibson as Cormac, Hubert Point-Du Jour as Miles, Jessica Allain as Lou, Mishel Prada as KD, Nhung Kate as Yen, Ben Robson as Frankie, Jeremy Bobb as Mayhew, Ray McKinnon as Jenkins, Adam Shapiro as Lemmy, Mark Musashi as Hansel, Marina Mazepa as Gretel, and Katie McGrath as The Adjudicator.

Greg Coolidge and Kirk Ward serve as co-writers and showrunners on The Continental. Albert Hughes directs the first and third episodes of the series while Charlotte Brändström directs the second episode. Franchise creator Derek Kolstad and John Wick‘s co-directors Chad Stahelski and David Leitch will executive produce.

Plot Synopsis:

The three-part event will explore the origin behind the iconic hotel-for-assassins centerpiece of the John Wick universe through the eyes and actions of a young Winston Scott, as he’s dragged into the Hell-scape of 1970’s New York City to face a past he thought he’d left behind. Winston charts a deadly course through the hotel’s mysterious underworld in a harrowing attempt to seize the hotel where he will eventually take his future throne.

The Continental: From the World of John Wick premieres on Peacock in September 2023.
