‘The Ice Road’ Trailer: Liam Neeson is Once Again Angry

Netflix has released an official trailer for The Ice Road, an upcoming disaster action thriller starring Liam Neeson and Laurence Fishburne. Let’s take a look to see how it compares to Neeson’s recent filmography.

Oh yeah, this definitely looks like a Liam Neeson action movie.

I don’t really know what to expect here. Am I wrong for immediately suggesting this could be similar in tone to The Grey and Cold Pursuit just because of the snowy setting? Probably, but I don’t really care what this film ends up being. I’ve watched almost every action movie Neeson has made since Taken and I’m not about to stop now.

Plot Synopsis:

After a remote diamond mine collapses in far northern Canada, a ‘big-rig’ ice road driver (Neeson) must lead an impossible rescue mission over a frozen ocean to save the trapped miners. Contending with thawing waters and a massive storm, they discover the real threat is one they never saw coming.

The Ice Road begins streaming June 25, 2021 on Netflix.
