Paramount has released an official trailer for The Naked Gun, an upcoming legacy sequel (in the loosest sense) to the original trilogy of the same name starring Leslie Nielsen. Let’s take a look.
Liam Neeson succeeds Nielsen as Frank Drebin, with the former playing the latter’s son (don’t check the math, it won’t add up). Also part of the ensemble cast are Pamela Anderson, Paul Walter Hauser, CCH Pounder, Kevin Durand, Cody Rhodes, Liza Koshy, Eddie Yu, and Danny Huston.
Plot Synopsis:
Only one man has the particular set of skills… to lead Police Squad and save the world! Lt. Frank Drebin Jr. (Liam Neeson) follows in his father’s footsteps in The Naked Gun.
Directed by Akiva Schaffer, The Naked Gun opens in theaters on August 1, 2025.
