Netflix has released a new official trailer for The Old Guard. Let’s see if you’ll be interested in watching Charlize Theron kick some ass.
Okay, you got me Netflix, I’ll watch your next attempt at a franchise starter! To be honest, I’m always interested in films dealing with time (time travel, immortality, etc.), and Charlize Theron is a great actress. In a year where we haven’t been getting many new films I’m at the point where I’m willing to watch anything. I just hope this film will be slightly better than the usual Netflix original films (you know I’m referring to the Happy Madison films).
Plot Synopsis:
Led by a warrior named Andy (Charlize Theron), a covert group of tight-knit mercenaries with a mysterious inability to die have fought to protect the mortal world for centuries. But when the team is recruited to take on an emergency mission and their extraordinary abilities are suddenly exposed, it’s up to Andy and Nile (KiKi Layne), the newest soldier to join their ranks, to help the group eliminate the threat of those who seek to replicate and monetize their power by any means necessary.
