‘The Pentaverate’ Trailer: From the Mind of Mike Myers

Netflix has released an official teaser trailer for The Pentaverate, an upcoming comedy series from the mind of Canadian comedian and actor Mike Myers. Let’s take a look.

Okay, I was intrigued at the beginning, but then it sort of got a bit too ridiculous at the end. I’ll still check it out, but I hope there’s an actual story here and not just Mike Myers playing a bunch of characters that crack jokes at each other.

The Pentaverate stars Mike Myers (as eight different characters), Jennifer Saunders (as two characters), Ken Jeong, Keegan-Michael Key, Debi Mazar, Richard McCabe, and Lydia West.

Plot Synopsis:

“What if a secret society of five men — aka The Pentaverate — has been working to influence world events for the greater good since the Black Plague of 1347?” As the series begins, one unlikely Canadian journalist (Myers) finds himself embroiled in a mission to uncover the truth and just possibly save the world himself.

The Pentaverate begins streaming May 5, 2022 on Netflix.
