‘The Reckoning’ Trailer: Leave Town While You Still Can

RLJ Entertainment has released an official trailer for The Reckoning. It is director Neil Marshall‘s first film following his involvement with the Hellboy reboot, which bombed hard back in 2019.

Yeah, it looks fine. I watched Marshall’s Doomsday last year and it was a perfectly okay movie. I don’t think it was good enough to entice me to check out his other films. But the trailer doesn’t look too bad here. Eh, I’ll probably watch it eventually when it hits streaming.

Plot Synopsis:

After losing her husband during the Great Plague, Grace Haverstock (Charlotte Kirk) is unjustly accused of being a witch and placed in the custody of England’s most ruthless witch-hunter, Judge Moorcroft (Sean Pertwee). Forced to endure physical and emotional torture while steadfastly maintaining her innocence, Grace must face her own inner demons as the Devil himself starts to work his way into her mind.

The Reckoning hits theaters, On Demand, and Digital HD on February 5, 2021. It will then stream on Shudder at a later date.
