‘The Social Reckoning’ Trailer Previews Jeremy Strong’s Mark Zuckerberg

Sony has released an official teaser trailer for The Social Reckoning. The upcoming movie serves as a companion piece to David Fincher’s The Social Network.

The Social Reckoning stars Mikey Madison as Frances Haugen, Jeremy Strong as Mark Zuckerberg, and Jeremy Allen White as Jeff Horwitz. Wunmi Mosaku, Betty Gilpin, Billy Magnussen, and Bill Burr also star.

Plot Synopsis:

The Social Reckoning is based on the events that gave rise to the Wall Street Journal’s shocking exposé The Facebook Files. The film is inspired by the true story of how Frances Haugen (Madison), a young Facebook engineer, enlists the help of Jeff Horwitz (White), a Wall Street Journal reporter, to go on a dangerous journey that ends up blowing the whistle on the social network’s most guarded secrets.

Written and directed by Aaron Sorkin, The Social Reckoning opens in theaters on October 9, 2026.
