‘Those Who Wish Me Dead’ Trailer: Angelina Jolie Stars in Taylor Sheridan’s Latest Film

Warner Bros. has released an official trailer for Those Who Wish Me Dead, based on the novel of the same name by Michael Koryta. Angelina Jolie stars while Taylor Sheridan directs from a script that he co-wrote with Koryta and Charles Leavitt.

This actually looks pretty good. I was about to dismiss this film, but now I think I’ll have to watch it when it comes out. I’ve been pretty hit or miss with Sheridan’s past work, but this looks like it could fall into the hit column.

In addition to Jolie, the film also stars Nicholas Hoult, Finn Little, Aiden Gillen, Medina Senghore, Tyler Perry, Jake Weber, and Jon Bernthal.

Plot Synopsis:

Oscar winner Angelina Jolie (“Girl, Interrupted,” the “Maleficent” films) stars as Hannah, a smoke jumper still reeling from the loss of three lives she failed to save from a fire when she comes across a traumatized 12-year-old boy with nowhere else to turn.

Those Who Wish Me Dead hits theaters and HBO Max on May 14, 2021.
