Tim Blake Nelson is finally venturing back to the Marvel Cinematic Universe.
The actor will reprise his role from The Incredible Hulk as Dr. Samuel Sterns in Captain America: New World Order. His casting was announced at the D23 Expo 2022. He will be reportedly the main villain in the upcoming Phase 5 film.
Also returning is Anthony Mackie as Sam Wilson/Captain America and Danny Ramirez and Carl Lumbly, who will be reprising their roles as Joaquin Torres/Falcon and Isaiah Bradley, respectively, from The Falcon and the Winter Soldier. Shira Haas has also boarded the cast as Ruth Bat-Seraph/Sabra.
New World Order hits theaters May 3, 2024.
