Yesterday, Uncharted fans were treated to our first official look of Tom Holland in the role of Nathan Drake. I have to say that any fears I had that Holland was miscast have been squashed. He looks like Nathan Drake has stepped out of the PlayStation games and into our real world.
Nolan North, who voices Drake in the games, also shared an image of himself with Holland during a set visit. Does this mean North might have also filmed a cameo? One can only hope!
Unfortunately we were not given our first look at Mark Wahlberg‘s Sully. Wahlberg was once cast to play Drake back in the early 2010s, but development hell eventually led to him taking on the role of Drake’s more experienced partner.
Holland is expected to finish filming Uncharted this week and jump immediately into shooting Spider-Man 3. Uncharted is set to hit theaters July 16, 2021.
