Wake Up Dead Man, the upcoming third installment in Rian Johnson’s Knives Out murder mystery series, is wasting no time casting suspects for Daniel Craig‘s Benoit Blanc.

Per Variety, Andrew Scott (Sherlock, Fleabag) has joined the cast of Wake Up Dead Man. His casting comes less than a day after Josh O’Connor (Challengers) and Cailee Spaeny (upcoming Alien: Romulus) boarded the Netflix project. Craig, of course, is back as sleuth Benoit Blanc, reprising the role from Knives Out (2019) and Glass Onion (2022).

Tom Hardy and Lindsay Lohan are also rumored to be in talks for roles in Wake Up Dead Man, although their casting has yet to be reported by any of the major outlets.

Johnson is writing, producing, and directing the third Knives Out installment. Production is expected to begin in June. A 2025 release window has been set by Netflix.
