WHAT I WATCHED THIS WEEK
Futureworld (1976) – Not NEARLY as good as Westworld, but it does expand on some of the original ideas and story well enough. At least now I see where the HBO Series was headed with it’s concept. I wish that didn’t get canceled. 2/5
The Andromeda Strain (1971) – This was a wild movie. It was soooo slow and overacted, yet it weirdly kept me intrigued. I really had no idea what was happening in parts but I loved the set direction. 3/5
The Pope’s Exorcist (2023) – Man, this was generic as hell yet I enjoyed it. Russell Crowe seemed to be having fun with it. The movie brings NOTHING new to the exorcism genre but it’s still worth the watch. I was thinking about watching that new Exorcist film after this but thought better of it. 3.25/5
