What Is the Best Foreign Horror Film?

Our mission at SAW is to foster conversations about this thing we all love (or love to hate): film/TV. Many of our features are designed with you in mind. Your opinions, to be more to the point. You have ’em. We want to hear ’em.

Question of the Day (QOTD) is exactly what it sounds like. It’s a film/TV-related question that we put to you, the reader. The comments section below is like the feedback box at work; except, in this example, we actually read what you write and care about what you have to say.

We talk a lot about American horror movies like Friday the 13th, Scream, The Conjuring, etc., but we don’t seem to spend that much time on foreign horror. Let’s change that, because the question I want to ask you today is: what is the best foreign horror film?

I don’t really watch a lot of foreign horror (I know, shame on me), and I’m not even sure if this movie counts as a horror film, but either way I’m going with Timecrimes. I love me a good time travel movie and Timcrimes gives me that while being a horror-thriller. I’m long overdue for a rewatch, so perhaps I’ll pop it in this season and see if it truly is a horror movie.

So what about you, screenagers? What is the best foreign horror film?

I’ll see you in the trenches.
