WHAT I WATCHED THIS WEEK

Backrooms (2026) This was fine. There were things I liked about it, but it would bump right up against being good without fully getting there. Although there were interesting things about it, it never got scary, horrific, or even creepy enough for me. Again, it would start to get there, but it never got me to fully engage or care about what was happening. I definitely liked the vibe and feel of it as the directing and cinematography were top-notch, along with the acting. It just missed the mark with me, but I am glad it is doing well at the box office.
