MOVIES AND SHOWS WATCHED THIS WEEK
After Life (2019 – 2022) – This is Ricky Gervais’ first show to get 3 seasons and it’s just absolutely wonderful. The more I think about it there hasn’t been much that has happened. The characters have all remained fairly similar to how they started off and in a way I’m glad it did that. Episode 3 of this season got the loudest laugh out of me since the above gif from Season 1. 4/5
Peacemaker (2022) – I like the show just fine so far. John Cena is pretty funny overall and the “squad” he’s on is pretty solid. It’s nice that a couple carried over from the film. But it’s just not grabbing me in the way I hoped. I’m gonna keep watching obviously. 3/5
Where the Wild Things Are (2009) – It’s just such a damn good looking film to watch and James Gandolfini is spectacular in it. I absolutely love the creature designs too. 3.5/5
