WHAT I WATCHED THIS WEEK
Godzilla vs The Smog Monster (1971) – One of the cheesier Showa era Godzilla flicks, primarily known for revealing that Godzilla can fly backwards using his atomic breath. I actually kinda like this one, though, and Hedorah is a pretty gross monster, made of oily pollution. Also features some of the few on-screen human deaths since the original Godzilla.
Dog Soldiers (2002) – One of my favorite werewolf films and one of my top 2 Neil Marshall films. I’ve had the 4k version sitting in my “to be watched” pile for a year and finally got around to it. Still a fantastic monster movie treat.
