MOVIES AND SHOWS WATCHED THIS WEEK
Jurassic World: Dominion (2022) – Slightly better than whatever the second one was called but still a ridiculous film and a waste of time. Sure it was nice seeing the old gang, but ooof that ending was stupid. 2/5
Mission: Impossible II (2000) – After deciding to do a DePalma movie watch last weekend that ended with his M:I film, we rolled right into a rewatch of the M:I series. Two is nowhere near as good as the first, but also no completely terrible. It’s just kinda there. 2.75/5
Mission: Impossible III (2006) – This one is a fun ride and kinda resets things in the series. Philip Seymore Hoffman is outstanding as the villain. The whole film is a huge improvement from the one before it and really paves the way for the films after it. 4.25/5
Mission: Impossible – Rogue Nation (2015) Skipped Ghost Protocol since we watched it over the weekend of the fourth. This one just rides that train following that film and sets you up for more. It’s another great entry in the series. 4/5
