If the only action you take from this post is to go sub to Oliver Harper’s YouTube channel, that will be worth it. I don’t know how he doesn’t have a bigger following. His Retrospectives are thoroughly researched, professionally edited and put together, and Harper’s opinions are measured and well supported. Which is probably why he hasn’t gotten more traction on YouTube, a place where the most inane, negative, and useless content seems to get rewarded first.
But I digress.
Harper’s stock went up in my book with this video, because, like me, his favorite film of the Nolan Batman trilogy is Batman Begins. This retrospective has some interesting little nuggets about the production of the film—none of which I am going to spoil here. Go watch the video and find out for yourself.
And go give Harper a sub on YouTube. The guy obviously puts a ton of work into these, and it shows.
What did you think about Olive Harper’s Retrospective on Batman Begins? Did you learn anything you didn’t already know? Do you agree with him—is Begins the best Nolan Batman film? Let us know in the comments below!
