MOVIES AND SHOWS WATCHED THIS WEEK
Monday Night at the Rock ‘n Bowl: A Documentary (2001) – An indie doc about the bowling alley I used to be in a league at. This was the Monday night punk rock league full of people who worked at bars or were in bands and had Monday nights off. This was filmed before I started bowling there by a handful of years, yet I still knew a TON of people in it. This was seriously some of the best nights out I ever had. Now I want to join up again. 5/5 (for pure nostalgia’s sake, otherwise you guys would hate it)
Iron Chef: Quest For An Iron Legend (2001) – I love Iron Chef. It’s one of the best cooking competition shows out there. It’s just plain silly at times yet I love how serious it is about the food. I actually just booked reservations at one of the guest chef’s restaurants here for my birthday in August. Allez Cuisine! 4.5/5
S.W.A.T. (2003) – Somehow I skipped this back in the day. I like the cast and still passed it by. Probably because it was that time where Colin Farrell was in EVERYTHING. But all in all I gotta say I enjoyed the movie. It’s got a weird plot because you aren’t 100% sure of the bad guys intentions for a bit. 3.75/5
