‘Weird: The Al Yankovic Story’ Trailer: The World Belongs to the Weird

The Roku Channel has released an official trailer for Weird: The Al Yankovic Story. The upcoming satirical biographical parody film stars Daniel Radcliffe as acclaimed musician and singer “Weird Al” Yankovic. Let’s take a look.

This actually looks really entertaining. Since Roku is free, I think I’ll be checking this film out as soon as it drops.

Weird stars Radcliffe, Evan Rachel Wood as Madonna, Rainn Wilson as radio broadcaster Dr. Demento, and Julianne Nicholson and Toby Huss as Yankovic’s parents, Mary and Nick.

Plot Synopsis:

The film tells the “true” story of Alfred Yankovic, better known as “Weird Al” Yankovic, his beginning interest in the accordion, his discovery by Dr. Demento, his support from Madonna, and his overall claim to fame. The film intentionally exaggerates and downright fabricates moments in his life for comical effect.

Weird: The Al Yankovic Story begins streaming on November 4, 2022, on The Roku Channel.
