What is Your Favorite Live-Action TV Series Based on DC Comics Publications?

Our mission at SAW is to foster conversations about this thing we all love (or love to hate): film/TV. Many of our features are designed with you in mind. Your opinions, to be more to the point. You have ’em. We want to hear ’em.

Question of the Day (QOTD) is exactly what it sounds like. It’s a film/TV-related question that we put to you, the reader. The comments section below is like the feedback box at work; except, in this example, we actually read what you write and care about what you have to say.

Superhero / Comic Book Month continues at SAW! This week, we’re taking a look specifically at DC Comics and its various live-action television adaptations. Need a rundown of all their characters and/or imprints that have gotten adapted? Well, thankfully Wikipedia has you covered. Click here to see the full list.

Now, onto today’s question: what is your favorite live-action DC Comics TV series?

If you had asked me this question five years ago, my answer would have been The Flash series that’s currently airing as part of the Arrowverse on The CW. However, I haven’t watched that show (nor any of the other series in that universe) in probably five years. The one series I am mostly caught up with though is Arrow and that’s going to be my answer here today.

Green Arrow is also probably my second favorite superhero in the DC Universe after Nightwing. I would love to see Green Arrow enter the DCEU, but I cannot see that happening anytime soon. So, I’ll just stick with Arrow and its great first two seasons.

So what about you, screenagers? What is your favorite live-action TV show based on a DC Comics property?

I’ll see you in the trenches.
