Our mission at SAW is to foster conversations about this thing we all love (or love to hate): film/TV. Many of our features are designed with you in mind. Your opinions, to be more to the point. You have ’em. We want to hear ’em.
Question of the Day (QOTD) is exactly what it sounds like. It’s a film/TV-related question that we put to you, the reader. The comments section below is like the feedback box at work; except, in this example, we actually read what you write and care about what you have to say.
Not all comic book movies feature super-heroes. There are some comic book adaptations that feature average, ordinary everyday people who are able to accomplish extraordinary things.
So, the question I ask today is: What is your favorite non-superhero comic book movie?
I just rewatched the Men in Black trilogy and it’s a lot better than I remember it being.
Despite Will Smith (who I don’t mind in this movie), it’s Tommy Lee Jones who makes these movies worth watching. The first is actually a really good science fiction movie, but the second just rehashes the first in the worst way and is a little too goofy for its own good. This might be the rare exception where the third installment is better than the second.
So what about you, screenagers? What is your favorite non-superhero comic book movie?
I’ll see you in the trenches.
